A typical bagel dough has about a 60% hydration level, while an atypical bread dough is 75%. The density of the bagel dough requires this to support the transition through the process ultimately into the blanched honey water for baking.

Mont Royal Bagel has tested and re-tested to perfect a delicious, chewy, and satisfying bagel. Developing different flavors to support our customers needs is always on our minds.

Our Bagels

Our bagels have no preservatives and will go stale fairly fast. Suggested Storeage: Slice and Freeze for freshness. Taking them out of the freezer, thaw slightly and toast up shortly after that. Storing in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 - 3 days.
